Fissler introduces a ceramic alternative with the Ceratal® Comfort pan.
A real eye-catcher: Fissler is launching the Ceratal® Comfort pan, an environmentally friendly ceramic-coated alternative.
Idar-Oberstein, March 21, 2022. Premium cookware manufacturer Fissler will expand its product range in April 2022 with the Ceratal® Comfort frying pan . The pan impresses with its exceptional design in warm gray tones. The responsibly produced, water-based, and PFAS/PTFE-free ceramic coating of the Ceratal® Comfort is particularly suitable for gentle and crispy frying.
The long-established company from Idar-Oberstein has set itself the goal of playing a pioneering role in innovation and quality Made in Germany . To meet this ambition, Fissler has invested in one of the most modern pan manufacturing facilities in Neubrücke. The new production plant enables the application of water-based coatings, which minimize solvent consumption and simultaneously reduce the company's CO2 emissions by approximately 70% annually compared to processes using solvent-based coatings.
The Ceratal® Comfort pan is also made from up to 60% recycled aluminum. This is equivalent to approximately 50 beverage cans, which thus find a new purpose in the recycling loop. The company's commitment to sustainability also includes maintaining its production site in Rhineland-Palatinate and providing apprenticeships in Germany.
With the Ceratal® Comfort, Fissler meets the needs of consumers who are looking for an alternative to frying with conventional coated pans and who also value aesthetics in the kitchen. The unique feature of the Ceratal® Comfort is its water-based, PFAS/PTFE-free ceramic non-stick coating with excellent non-stick properties. This makes it particularly suitable for gently and crisply frying, for example, crunchy vegetables, potatoes, and pasta dishes. The exclusive, energy-saving Fissler CookStar® base ensures optimal heat distribution and is suitable for all types of cooktops, including induction. The innovative conical shape of the Fissler Comfort pan body has a high rim and an extra-large cooking surface. This allows for comfortable, mess-free stirring and turning. The separately available Fissler Clippix® splatter guard can be attached to the ergonomic, sturdy Fissler safety handle with finger guard.
