Fissler is the test winner at Stiftung Warentest.

The Original Profi Collection® by Fissler is the highest-rated stainless steel cookware set.

Idar-Oberstein, February 28, 2022. In issue 3/2022 of its magazine, Stiftung Warentest put 17 stainless steel cookware sets to the test. The Original-Profi Collection® from Fissler emerged as the clear test winner, beating out products from Elo, Zwilling, and WMF, among others. This successful cookware series from Fissler is manufactured entirely in Germany and, along with the other series, was tested in the categories of "cooking performance," "handling," "energy consumption," and "durability," receiving a "good" rating (1.9). This clearly sets the test winner apart from the other brands in the test series, whose rankings start at a score of 2.2.

The Original-Profi Collection® particularly impressed the testers in the key categories of "cooking performance" (grade 1.7) and "handling" (grade 2.1), where features such as heating/cooling time, temperature distribution on the base, the instruction manual, the temperature of the pot/lid handle, and ease of cleaning were examined. "Durability" was rated "very good" with a grade of 1.5.

Stiftung Warentest explains its award to the Fissler series as follows: “The Fissler Original-Profi Collection, priced at €530, is the test winner. The pots, with their thickest bases, retain heat exceptionally well, distribute heat effectively, and are highly durable.” The series, with its iconic and timeless design, features the exclusive, energy-efficient Fissler CookStar® base for optimal heat distribution and has previously received the iF Design Award and the Kitchen Innovation Award.

The 5-piece Original-Profi Collection® set consists of three saucepans, a roasting pan, and a saucepan with a handle. Made in Neubrücke, Germany, from up to 90% recycled, satin-finished, and finely ground stainless steel, it excels in professional kitchens as well as at home.
