Fissler receives awards for innovation and user-centricity
Idar-Oberstein, August 16, 2022 : The premium cookware manufacturer wins the German Innovation Award for its new Ceratal® Comfort pan and the Special Mention award for the new Adamant® wok.
With the Ceratal® Comfort, the premium cookware manufacturer expanded its product range in April 2022. The pan impresses not only with its exceptional design in warm gray tones, but also with its water-based ceramic non-stick coating, which is free of PFAS/PTFE. Thanks to its excellent non-stick properties, the pan is suitable for both gentle and crispy frying of, for example, crunchy vegetables, potatoes, or pasta dishes. Furthermore, it is manufactured from up to 60% recycled aluminum at the production site in Rhineland-Palatinate. With this new pan, Fissler meets the needs of consumers who are looking for an alternative to frying with conventionally coated pans and who also value aesthetics in the kitchen. The Ceratal® Comfort also convinced the jury of the German Innovation Award and received the award in the category "Excellence in Business to Consumer." The German Innovation Award recognizes pioneering innovations that offer users sustainable added value. It makes outstanding achievements visible to a broad audience and supports successful market positioning.
Fissler's Adamant® wok, a scratch-resistant all-rounder for Asian cuisine, was also recognized at this year's ceremony for its exceptional versatility: it combines excellent non-stick properties with outstanding scratch resistance. The key to its extreme robustness is the Adamant coating, which gives the series its distinctive name. This coating contains silicon carbide particles, giving it a rough surface texture and scratch-resistant finish. Thanks to the coating's superior thermal conductivity, heat is transferred more directly to the food than with conventional non-stick products. This allows for gentle stir-frying and searing without the food sticking. Combined with its authentic Chinese wok shape, this versatile wok is perfectly suited for traditional Chinese cuisine: from roasting shellfish or vegetables to preparing Chinese noodle dishes. The jury awarded this exceptional design feature a "Special Mention." These awards once again highlight the premium cookware manufacturer's position as a pan and wok specialist and the company's innovative strength.
