PHI = Form x Function: The new PHI collection from Fissler combines form and function at the highest level.
Idar-Oberstein, January 2024 – The Greek letter Phi symbolizes the number of the "Golden Ratio," the concept of balanced proportions in art, architecture, and design. This magical number, inherent in all of nature, has been chosen by the German premium cookware manufacturer Fissler as the guiding principle for the development of its extraordinary new collection of cookware. In collaboration with Phoenix Design, some of Europe's most renowned product designers, a cookware set was created that unites form and function like no other: PHI.
The increasing merging of kitchen and living areas opens up new aesthetic spaces that extend beyond the purely functional consideration of cookware. Moreover, the shared experience of preparing, cooking, and eating creates a vibrant space for communication and interaction, in which cookware plays a completely new role. And this is where Phi comes in: In Fissler's new cookware collection, the pots and pans are much more than mere utensils – they are an integral part of the experience. Design elements that contribute to the aesthetics of the space. "Our idea and motivation was to create cookware that embodies balance, perfection, and beauty in both its proportions and its function. In this way, not only cooking, but also the cookware itself becomes an art form. To meet the demand for perfection and harmony, our Fissler master craftsmen and culinary experts collaborated with the award-winning product designers at Phoenix Design to develop the Phi Collection." – André Koch, Global Brand & Communication Manager at Fissler.
The result is a distinctive, innovative, and multifunctional cookware set. Made in Germany. Its extensive functionality and contemporary design make this product unique. Combined with the high-quality material, the design and proportions create the perfect balance for efficient cooking and a harmonious overall presentation on the table. This fulfills the requirements of high-quality cookware and culminates in a holistic cooking experience.
This durable and sustainable cookware is made of robust, 100% recyclable 18/10 stainless steel. The wide, elegant handles enhance ergonomics and harmonize perfectly with the overall design of satin-finished stainless steel and glass. These handles offer even more: they protect against heat, thus facilitating handling during cooking. Essential features such as a downdraft spout, pouring spout, lid hook, and stackability are seamlessly integrated into the design, appearing refined and understated despite their functionality.
“With the Fissler Phi Collection, the leading culinary experts at Fissler have created another highlight.
